Revised Code of Practice for Victims of Crime
The revised Code of Practice for Victims of Crime came into force on 10th December 2013. All Police and Crime Commissioners (PCC’s) are service providers and must include information about this Code on their website. They have a legal duty to consult with victims in setting the policing priorities in their area and hold the Chief Constable of the police in their area to account.
The Commissioner would appreciate feedback on the services provided to victims in South Yorkshire. Especially so, if you have been a victim yourself and would like to let him know about what you think of the services in place in South Yorkshire. Please contact us to provide your feedback direct to the Police and Crime Commissioner.
