Grants Information

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner consults communities about local priorities, and then having set them gives funding to those communities to empower them to be part of the solution.

The 2017/18 Community Grant Scheme funded by South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Dr Alan Billings is open for applications.

The aim of the funding is to give communities the opportunity to tackle issues of concern, break down barriers and encourage partnership working.

Applications are welcome from small non-profit locally based community organisations that address one or more of the Commissioner strategic priorities.

The funding will assist in the development of strong working relationship in the community with the police and partners tackling local priorities and securing a coordinated approach in tackling issues.

The funding stream is open to applications throughout the financial year.  Applications are sought from small non profit making community organisations to bid for funding of up to £5,000
